It's expected to be quite cold and windy in New Jersey on Sunday, and a nor'easter is possible from late Tuesday into Thursday, according to National Weather Service Forecasters.
Wind gusts will be in the 25 to 40 mph range inland on Sunday and 40 to 50 mph near the coast, according to a tweet by Gary Szatkowski, meteorologist in charge of the National Weather Service Mount Holly Office.
Early Sunday morning temperatures are expected to be in the 20s in many spots, with wind chills in the teens, according to maps in Szatkowski tweets.
Meanwhile, Szatkowski's colleague, Joe Miketta, has issued a briefing package on the possible nor'easter.
The weather service office in Upton, N.Y., has also posted a briefing.
